These grants are only available for homeowners in Leicestershire. If you do not live in Leicestershire, grants could still be available to you under different criteria. To find this out, you need to check if local council offers a 'Warm Home Scheme' or 'Help to Heat initiative'.
How Does the process work?
- We will confirm that you meet all the necessary criteria
- We'll then need to check your annual household income and or other necessary criteria specific to claiming your grant.
- We will also confirm your status (whether you own your own home or you're a private tenant)
- For Gas Boiler grants we will ask for the current model of your boiler, it's age and location in your home.
- For First Time Central Heating we will identify the current method of heating in your home and if there is gas to your property/street.
- For Under Floor insulation grants we will ask whether you have you over 50% suspended floors and other details of your home.
If you have all of this information, we will be able to get your application processed a lot quicker.
